Casta Bookings ("the Service") helps salons schedule appointments with their customers through a chat page. This policy explains what information we handle and how. It covers both customers who book appointments and salons that subscribe to the Service.
From customers booking an appointment: your name (if you provide it), a phone number if you share one, the messages you send to book or manage an appointment, and the appointment details (service, date, and time).
From salons that sign up: business name, contact name, email, optional phone, chosen plan, and account login credentials (stored only as a secure one-way hash — never in plain text).
We use customer information only to schedule appointments and answer questions about the salon's services, and to send the salon owner a notification and a day-before reminder about their bookings. We use salon information to operate your account and subscription. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
Customer information is shared only with the salon you are booking with and the providers required to run the Service: our hosting provider, our AI provider (used only in "live" mode to process your booking messages), our email provider (to send booking notifications and reminders), and — for salon subscriptions only — our payment processor, Stripe. We never share your information for advertising, and we do not sell it. Card and payment details are handled directly by Stripe; we do not store card numbers.
We keep appointment and conversation records only as long as needed to provide the service to the salon. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting the salon or us.
You can stop receiving messages at any time by replying to ask us to stop. You may also request a copy or deletion of your data.
